42nd Street Media Recruitment was established in 1995 in order to provide a specialist service to the film, television & related media industries. Over the years the company has gone from strength to strength and is now the preferred supplier for many large and small media companies throughout the London area.
We place candidates for permanent roles as well as short or long term contracts at junior, intermediate or senior level and across all disciplines covering post production, production, broadcast, advertising and the related media industries. (Click here for examples of roles covered.) On the temporary side we always have a pool of excellent runners who are readily available at short notice.
Our personnel database is constantly updated and all our candidates are met and interviewed before they are introduced to clients. We pride ourselves in offering a personal, professional and highly efficient service and are always more than happy to meet with clients and prospective clients to discuss both our services and our candidates.
Our dictum is to match our candidates’ career aspirations, attitudes and experience to our clients’ requirements and profile. The one prerequisite we always specify is a genuine enthusiasm for the job!

Jim joined 42nd Street last year with a solid professional background in the television and media industry to manage the recruitment for all permanent positions. With many contacts and strong interviewing skills, Jim's finger is always on the pulse of the market!

Tania Patti
Following a history in both film and television production in the UK and Australia Tania co-ordinates all requests for temporary, contract and freelance work. Val Horton
Val has many years experience in both film and television (she won’t let us say how many!!!) and has a breadth of experience covering both the production and post production sides of the industry. She now oversees all aspects of 42nd Street’s operations from client to candidate relations, keeping the rest of us on our toes! Offering wisdom, wit and quite often some "bubbly".
